Calaveras County Launches Film Commission

San Andreas, CA — Calaveras County is embarking on a new endeavor with high hopes of increasing tourism and National recognition.
Executive Director for the Calaveras County Visitors Bureau Lisa Reynolds says she has a new title, Film Commissioner.
Reynolds believes marketing Calaveras County to moviemakers will enhance its exposure. She says Tuolumne County Film Commissioner Jerry Day has been a wealth of information during the implementation of the new department.
When it comes to Valentine´s Day, Reynolds says there are plenty of events going on in the county and she encourages residents to stop by the Visitors Bureau to get more information.
