Soulsbyville Family Can Rebuild After Structure Fire

Soulsbyville, CA — A Soulsbyville family is being assisted by the Red Cross after their home caught fire Friday evening.
CDF Fire Marshall Karry Hubbard says the fire started in the kitchen of the home. Seven engines and one water tender responded to the blaze just after 7:00pm.
Hubbard says the fire caused $150,000 in structure damage and $50,000 in content damage. She believes the family will be able to rebuild the home, since the frame is still intact.
The mother and children were not injured; however the family cat did not survive the fire.
