Ebbetts Pass Byway Takes Shape

Dorrington, CA — Restrooms, vistas, and marketing projects are in the works for Highway 4´s scenic route from Arnold to Markleeville.
Supporters of the Ebbetts Pass National Scenic Byway gathered in Dorrington last night to celebrate last September´s designation and to plan for what´s to come.
Calaveras Council of Governments Executive Director George Dondero, who was recognized for his work on the project, said the designation makes available federal dollars for improvement projects and marketing opportunities.
A steering committee is being formed to guide the work.
