Winter Storms Not Letting Up On Sierra Nevada

Sonora, CA — The Sierra Nevada will be hit with more rain and snow Monday.
The National Weather Service is issuing a Winter Storm Warning to go into effect this afternoon through 4:00pm Tuesday.
New snow accumulations of one to two feet are possible by tomorrow, with more than two feet of new snow in the high country.
Snow will also start out around 5,000 feet this afternoon, lowering to near 3,500 feet by tomorrow morning.
Along with the snow, strong and gusty winds are possible throughout the day, making driving conditions very hazardous.
