More Taxes On Calaveras Bills This Year

San Andreas, CA — Despite voting down two general obligation bonds in 2004, Calaveras residents are still responsible for paying them and will do so this year.
The San Joaquin/Delta and Yosemite junior college bond measures passed over all throughout its multiple jurisdictions.
However, for miscommunication reasons, the bond rates were not included in the 2005/2006 tax bills. Therefore payments for that year and 2006/2007 will be included in the bills that go out this October.
For the 30,000 taxpayers within those districts, the cost will vary because it´s based on assessed value of property.
The Auditor and Tax Collector will have a better idea of rates sometime after July.
