Four Injured In Old Priest Grade Accident
Groveland, CA — The combined forces of the Highway Patrol, CDF-Tuolumne County Fire District, Sheriff´s Department Search and Rescue Unit, Groveland Community Services and Tuolumne County ambulances helped to rescue four individuals whose car plummeted approximately 400 feet down an embankment on Old Priest Grade a half a mile west of Priest Coulterville Rd. early Sunday evening.
The Highway Patrol reports the vehicle traveled onto the north shoulder. When the driver attempted to recover, the car overcorrected and plunged down the embankment.
The four occupants in the car included 40 year old Michelle Kinney of Mountain View, 16 year old Brianna Kinney also of Mountain View, 16 year old Hannah Johnson of Grand Rapids, Michigan and 13 year old Eva Windstrand of Mountain View.
All four were taken to Tuolumne General Hospital with minor injuries.
