Each week, the Cabin 93.5 KKBN and Star 92.7 KZSQ highlight a local student athlete who has excelled both on and off the field, court, mat or track. It is our way of rewarding these outstanding young individuals for both their athletic and academic hard work.

Our title sponsor, The Candy Vault, and our supporting sponsors Elevate at Black Oak Casino Resort and the Pizza Factory of Twain Harte are providing the winners of these awards prizes to reward their effort and diligence.

You can hear the Candy Vault Student Athlete of the Week every Thursday morning at 6:50 AM and 7:50 AM with Alisha Rock on 93.5 FM KKBN and at 6:40 AM and 7:40 AM with Mark Grauer on Star 92.7. If your student is selected their parent or guardian can pick up the prizes at 42 S. Washington Street in Sonora.
