CDF: Arson Caused Last Week’s Jenny Lind Fire

Jenny Lind, CA — California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection officials are reporting that a grass fire in Jenny Lind last week was caused by arson.
A CDF Fire Prevention Officer is still working on the final report but has determined it was arson.
The fire broke out at around 2 p.m., Friday, July 28 near 7091 Warren Road in Jenny Lind.
The fire was started near Warren Road and traveled toward the home on the property.
One half acre was scorched. Officials say the fire stayed quite a ways from the home. Damage is estimated $200.
