Second District Three Listening Session Thursday
Mi-Wuk Village, CA — District Three Supervisor candidate Terri Murrison is getting a good idea of what is important to people in Tuolumne County, by holding listening sessions in District Three.
The first of several sessions was held last week in Twain Harte and Murrison says residents were very vocal when it came to their concerns. She says at the top of the list was roads, law enforcement, fire protection, Tuolumne General Hospital, and surprisingly, the need for more cell phone towers.
Most importantly, Murrison says residents are concerned about the county government being fiscally responsible with the budget. The next session will be held at the Pine Cone Café in Mi-Wuk Village on Thursday at 7:00pm.
Murrison says she will provide a detailed summary of what comes out of the sessions to the Board of Supervisors between now and January. Additional listening sessions are planned in other District Three communities.
