Calaveras County, CA – Two power outages, one involving an “urgent repair,” are impacting 113 PG&E customers in two separate locations in Calaveras County.

The company reports that the first outage began just before 9 a.m. in the Arnold area. Those impacted are 60 customers stretching from Cypress Point Drive to Meadow Drive, off Blue Lake Springs Drive, and south of Highway 4. The company reports, “This is an unplanned outage. Our crew shut off power to make an urgent repair safely.”

A crew is currently working on those repairs, and the posted estimated power restoration time is 3:30 p.m.

The second outage is in the Copperopolis area, affecting 53 customers whose lights went out just before noon along Stallon Way and Gelding Road, south of Highway 4 near New Melones Lake. The utility stated, “There is an unplanned outage in your area. Our team is evaluating the electrical system to identify damaged sections and make necessary repairs in order to safely turn the power back on.”

A crew is continuing to work to restore the power with an estimated repair time of 5:30 p.m.
