Mann Trial Delayed
San Andreas, CA — The trial of Anthony Mann, accused of manslaughter, has been postponed one month.
Calaveras County Superior Court says the District Attorney made a motion to continue the trial, which was granted Friday.
Mann, who is from Arnold, is set to stand trial on two counts of vehicular manslaughter stemming from an accident in May 2004.
Court documents say Mann, who was 17 at the time, was driving drunk when his car left Blagen Road, hit a tree and overturned in a ditch. His brother Ernest and Steven Ferrari were in the car and perished.
The 10-day jury trial will now take place September 28.
