Fire Crews Battling 300 Acre Fire In Stanislaus Forest

Clark Fork, CA — Fire crews are continuing to battle a more than 300 acre vegetation fire in the Clark Fork Campground off of Highway 108.
The fire is located in the Stanislaus National Forest and has been burning since Sunday afternoon. Several air tankers, engines and hand crews are on scene and motorists should use caution in the area.
The campground has not been evacuated, no structures are currently threatened and no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation; however officials believe it was human caused.
