Water Restrictions Requested In Columbia-Gibbs Area

Sonora, CA — The Columbia and Matelot Ditch that provides the water supply for the Columbia and Gibbs area will be shut down today through Thursday for maintenance.
Depending on current water usage and weather conditions, the treated water customers in the Columbia and Gibbs water service area could run out of water by tomorrow if conservation efforts are not made.
T.U.D. customers in the Columbia and Gibbs area are encouraged to limit household water usage and discontinue all outside water use through Thursday.
Normal water service will resume on that day.
