New Christmas Tree For Copperopolis Park

Copperopolis, CA — A new tree has been planted at Copper Park thanks to the efforts of local community members.
Dell Jackson of Copperopolis says the new Aptos Blue Redwood tree replaced a 150-year old oak tree that was pretty much dead.
The tree was donated by the Valley Crest Nursery, Farmington division and planted by Dick McCarty and Scott Nordvick.
The community will celebrate a Christmas tree lighting ceremony with the new tree on December 2 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
