Annual Santa Flyin Helps Children Get Wishes To Saint Nick

Sonora ,CA– Many Mother Lode children are smiling with a sigh of relief after getting their Christmas wishes to Saint Nick at the Annual Santa Flyin.

Although clouds covered the sky and the winds were blowing hard, the PHI Air Med Team was able to fly Santa safely down to the Sonora High School baseball field where hundreds of children lined up behind the gates to get a free photo with Santa.

Michelle Guthrie, a flight nurse with the Med Team says this is the third year the event has taken place and that the turnout was excellent. The Santa Flyin was sponsored by Clarke Broadcasting who took pictures of the children on Santa´s lap.

Candy canes were also distributed by several members of the Tuolumne County Ambulance. Now that the children have told Santa what they want for Christmas, the next order of business to simply behave.
