Calaveras County Judge Orders Two To Stand Trial

San Andreas, CA — A Calaveras County Superior Court Judge has ruled that two Valley Springs men must stand trial for murder among other charges.
Twenty-one-year-old Donald Pinon and 20-year-old Daniel Rocha are accused in the shooting death of David Jessop who was found shot to death in his bed early on March 16th.
Police say the slaying was a case of mistaken identity, and one of Jessop´s roommates was the intended target. Prosecutors say the two are known gang members who went to Jessop´s house with the intent to commit robbery.
The two defendants are being held at the county jail awaiting formal arraignment May 31st.
