California Peace Officers’ Memorial Tuolumne County

Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County will be honoring all of the fallen California Peace Officers on Wednesday May 18th.
There were 13 fallen officers in 2004 in California, including Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department Deputy David Grant.
Sheriff Dick Rogers said that the memorial is an annual event and it will take place at noon on Wednesday at Courthouse Park.
According to Rogers there will be several law enforcement agencies in attendance to show their support, including the CHP, Sonora Police, as well as Correctional Officers.
Rogers encourages the community to attend, however he warns that the memorial will begin right at 12:00pm, so he suggests getting there early.
