Wild Winter-like Weather Related Fatalities

Police say snow-slick roads contributed to numerous accidents yesterday in the Sierra, including at least three fatalities. California Highway Patrol reported a woman died in a two-car crash on eastbound Interstate 80. The driver of the other vehicle was not seriously injured. In another crash, police say two people died near Placerville in El Dorado County.
