Knights Ferry, CA—There is a large law enforcement presence at Lover’s Leap on Highway 108 near Knights Ferry, slowing traffic.
While not revealing what is being investigated and reports of travelers seeing the coroner’s vehicle at the scene, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office released this statement:
“A law enforcement investigation is currently impacting traffic on Highway 108, just west of Knights Ferry, for an undetermined period. Caltrans is on scene and actively monitoring traffic conditions. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes when possible.”
