Update at 8:55 p.m.: PG&E crews have turned the lights back on for more than 600 PG&E customers in Mariposa County who woke up without power this morning. The utility reports the outage stretched from Highway 120 to past Highway 140, impacting Yosemite National Park. 613 customers lost their electricity just before 5 a.m. The company did not give a cause for the nearly three-hour outage.

Original post at 6:13 a.m.: Mariposa County, CA—More than 600 PG&E customers in Mariposa County are waking up without power this morning.

PG&E reports the outage stretches from Highway 120 to past Highway 140, impacting Yosemite National Park. 613 customers lost their electricity just before 5 a.m. The company shared that it is an unplanned outage, adding, “Our team is evaluating the electrical system to identify damaged sections and make necessary repairs in order to safely turn the power back on.”

The utility gives an estimated repair time of 1:45 p.m. today.
