Band Review Rocks Dunlavy Field

The music could be heard for blocks around Sonora High School… and parking was at a high premium last night.
The reason: It was the annual Tuolumne County Band Review, part of the 2004 Mother Lode Roundup.
Ariel Vaughn from the Sonora Elementary School Bobcat band said extra curricular activities were important.
“I think actually it helps you balance more with your school work, so I think it´s important to get in a band. And it´s also really fun,” Ariel said.
And Ryan Morrison from the Milaga Band said he´s been playing for a year.
