Wesson Pleads Not Guilty in Nine Fresno Murders
Lawyers for a Fresno man accused of killing nine of his own children say he didn´t pull the trigger at all.
Marcus Wesson´s attorneys said Friday they´re examining the evidence and looking at several possible theories about how Wesson´s children died.
Wesson´s children were found stacked in a pile at Wesson´s home last month after he emerged from the home with blood on his clothes.
Authorities have conducted gunpowder residue tests on some of the victims´ hands, but have not yet revealed the results.
Startling portions of the investigation were disclosed Thursday.
A homicide detective testified that one of Wesson´s adult daughters claimed Wesson began molesting her and her sisters when they were as young as five-years-old.
Wesson has pleaded innocent to charges he killed nine of his children, and to 33 additional charges he sexually abused some of them.
