Two Arrested for Possession of Marijuana For Sale

Calaveras County Sheriff´s Deputies arrested two suspects Wednesday evening on charges of possession of narcotics for sale.
It happened on Highway 26 at the Amador County Line, just east of West Point, around 8 o´clock last night.
31-year-old Micah Zane Spearing and 29-year-old Gary Blue Hunt were pulled over during a traffic stop, when deputies found a large amount of marijuana in their possession.
Both suspects were booked into Calaveras County Jail with bail amounts set at 80-thousand dollars each.
Also, Spearing had a Parole Hold placed on him by the California Department of Corrections.
Calaveras County Narcotics Officers are investigating the case.
