Construction End In Sight For Bypass Phase One

If you´ve been driving on Mono Way, you may have wondered when the opening date is for Phase One of the East Sonora Bypass.
Duke York from the Tuolumne County Public Works Department says the date isn´t set in stone.
“CalTrans´s last estimate was an opening date for the bypass of around June 15th, and complation probably another month after that, as they do some finish-up work with landscaping and other things,” York said.
However, York added that midsummer timetable is subject to the weather and other time constraints.
