Spring Fever Hits Mother Lode
Blue, sunny skies and warm temperatures this past weekend caused numerous reported cases of “Spring Fever.”
Spring officially kicks-off this Saturday, March 20, but the weather will be more like summer than spring for the next first few days before some clouds move in later in the week.
Folks were out in force at area lakes, such as Don Pedro in South Tuolumne County during the weekend. Boaters, fishermen and those just looking for some wet and wild fun plied the waters.
High temperatures in the Mother Lode expected to be in the high 70s or low 80-degree range today and Tuesday. Irish eyes on St. Patrick´s Day Wednesday will be smiling with sunny skies and warm temperatures. This Saturday, Murphy´s Irish Day Parade crowds will see partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 70s while they enjoy the annual celebration in Calaveras County.
