3 Arrested in Series of Jenny Lind Burglaries

It was a lengthy burglary investigation, but the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department arrested three subjects in the Jenny Lind area.

It started with a rash of burglaries, but in the end two juveniles and an 18-year-old man were under arrest. The first juvenile is charged with grand theft and possession of stolen property, and the second faces four counts of burglary and one count of grand theft.

18-year-old Mark Reberiego was arrested for three counts of burglary and two counts of vandalism after allegedly damaging the interior floor of two homes. A search warrant turned up numerous items of stolen property which had been reported missing following the burglaries.

Reberiego is being held in the Calaveras County jail. Bail is set at 50-thousand dollars.
