Original story posted at 3:28 pm: Calaveras, CA—Fire resources are on the scene of a vegetation fire located near 3003 Murphys Grade Road near Angels Camp. The fire is approximately 7 acres in size and burning at a moderate rate of spread with reported spot fires. It has been named the Ross Fire, and structures are threatened in the area, with structure defense taking place at the top of Rolling Meadows Drive.
