Three people were killed in Mother Lode area traffic accidents Sunday.

The CHP believes alcohol was involved in a Long Barn accident. A car, driven by an unidentified woman, went off the road east of Long Barn Road, hit a tree, and ejected all three people in the car. The two passengers died from their injuries.

The Tuolumne County coroner´s office identified them as 12-year-old Brett Slinger of Danville and 26 year-old Cody Tatro of Walnut Creek. The driver, identified only as Tatro´s girlfriend, was taken to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto by helicopter with non-life threatening injuries.

In a second fatal Tuolumne County wreck yesterday, a Ford Explorer drifted off Highway 120 near Tulloch Road, spun out and flipped over. Two of the four people inside were ejected from the SUV.

CHP says one of them was a 19-year-old woman from the Red Bluff area. She had been riding in the back seat and wasn´t wearing a seat belt.

The woman´s name was not released because her family had not been notified Sunday night.
