Carolyn Condit has settled her $10 million libel lawsuit against the National Enquirer.
Attorneys representing the wife of former Congressman Gary Condit did not release details of the settlement yesterday.
Carolyn Condit filed the lawsuit in Fresno last year after the tabloid published a story with a headline stating she attacked Washington intern Chandra Levy.
The congressional career of Gary Condit was ended amid the mystery surrounding the disappearance of Chandra Levy. Her body was found in a Washington, DC park. Condit was never named a suspect in the case. He did admit to having an affair with Levy.
