Redding Teens Die In Crash

Four Redding teen-agers on the way home from a camping trip were killed in a collision near the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area.
Officials say 17-year-old Bryan Conner died last night at the Mercy Medical Center in Redding. The names of the other victims, a 16-year-old boy, 16-year-old girl and 18-year-old girl, were being withheld until relatives could be notified. The accident closed Highway 299 for several hours.
