School District Sued Over Molestations

Fifteen million dollars in damage claims have been filed against the Marysville Joint Unified School District over molestations believed committed by a campus counselor. The claims, filed on behalf of five school children, charge that the district ignored parent´s warnings the counselor was molesting students. The counselor in question was arrested in April and charged with molesting students at Walter Kynoch Elementary School. His criminal case is pending in Yuba County Superior Court. The five claims seek three million dollars for each of five children.
