SF Goes After Petco

San Francisco has sued Petco Animal Supplies Incorporated for allegedly keeping dead or poorly cared for animals on the shelves at two locations in the city. The city attorney says inspectors and customers found sick and dead birds, a dead moldy turtle and quote “cooked” toad in a waterless cage at the Petco stores. He´s seeking a court order blocking Petco from selling animals in the city.
