Doomed Air Tanker From Oregon

That air tanker that crashed yesterday in California was based at the central Oregon town of Redmond.
David Widmark, a spokesman for the Northwest Interagency Coordination Center in Portland, says the tanker crew worked for a contractor in Wyoming.
Hawkins and Powers Aviation, based in Greybull, Wyoming, says the aircraft was part of its fleet. It did not release any other information. Widmark says the names of the crew members could be released later today.
