Accused Strangler Back In California

David Genong is back in the San Francisco Bay area this morning to face charges in the strangling death of a 6 year old Hayward boy. Genong is being held without bail at the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin. He´s due in court today. Genong was arrested Monday at a gas station in Lovelock, Nevada. He was the target of a multi-state manhunt after the bound and strangled body of Alex Martinez was found in Genong´s apartment last weekend. Genong says he´s innocent. He has no record of violent crime. He was placed on five years probation after a conviction for cocaine possession two years ago.
