Close Call In Shasta Fire

Fire crews are cleaning up debris today after flames threatened a resort area full of house boats and restaurants yesterday in Lake Shasta. The 50 acre fire is fully contained and all roads have been opened. Summer residents were told to take cover in their homes as flames threatened the Silverthorn Resort. Flames tore through grass, brush and trees but no structures were harmed.
