Westerfield Trial Resumes

The trial of the man charged with kidnapping and murder in the death of Danielle van Dam is back in session in San Diego. 50-year-old David Westerfield has pleaded innocent and could face the death penalty if convicted. Still to be heard from are friends of the van Dams who were at their home in the hours before Danielle was reported missing on February Second. Defense attorney Steven Feldman has suggested their lifestyle may have allowed other potential suspects into their San Diego home.
