An 11-hundred acre wildfire in Smartville is now 50 percent contained and fire officials say it should be fully contained later this morning. Winds are pushing the so-called Field Fire to the east now, which means the fire is no longer spreading. The fire, which is about 60 miles northeast of Sacramento, forced the evacuation of about 150 homes yesterday. California Department of Forestry spokeswoman Elizabeth Richmond says, however, that everyone is being allowed to return to their homes now.
