Murder Victim Mourned In La Mesa

A seven-year-old La Mesa boy killed by his mother was remembered by relatives at a memorial service. Christopher Castillo was a happy and loving boy say friends and relatives who attended the memorial yesterday. Christopher´s body was found in the apartment he shared with his mother, Anita Castellanos, after she went to a relative´s house and announced she had killed her son. She then tried to kill herself. Authorites say the boy was smothered. Castellanos, 25, plead innocent to murder charges and is being held on one million dollars bail.
