Priest Investigated In Possible Murder

Police were expected to continue searching a defrocked priest´s vacation home in Truckee today. They´re looking for clues that could bring them closer to finding a Pinole girl who vanished 14 years ago. Stephen Kiesle was arrested in May on three counts of child molestation. Police obtained a warrant to dig at his vacation home Tuesday after getting “hits´´ from cadaver-sniffing dogs. Kiesle lived just down the street from seven-year-old Amber Swartz in Pinole when she disappeared in 1988. She was the same age and looked similar to the three women who are now accusing Kiesle of molesting them 30 years ago.
