Accused Gunman Can Stand Trial

An accused gunman in last year´s triple slayings in Nevada City could return to Nevada County after being found competent to face murder charges. Scott Thorpe has spent the last year in state mental hospitals. He is accused of killing three people at the county Department of Behavioral Health Services and a Lyon´s Restaurant.
