Tree Cutting Leads To Court Case

The agency that regulates land use at Lake Tahoe is suing a Nevada lawyer and his neighbor for illegally trimming trees on their property. The Reno federal court complaint seeks civil penalties of $5,000 a day for each limb and tree top cut in violation of ordinances.
