Major Bust In Bakersfield

Police have been busy the last few days arresting more than two dozen people in central and southeast Bakersfield as part of a three-month undercover drug investigation. Authorities say it´s one of the larger busts for the police department, 33 people ranging in ages 15 to 50 arrested on felony warrants so far — with more on the way. Police say the operation started after numerous complaints from those living in the area. Several of the drug hangouts were next to schools.
