A swarm of overnight earthquakes in the ocean just off the northern coast of California has grown in intensity this morning.
Eight quakes of magnitude three-point-zero or higher have occurred since ten p-m. The largest quake of moderate size was magnitude four-point-three at 6:56 a-m. The swarm of earthquake activity occurs just over ten years after the destructive Ferndale quakes, which were centered along the coast about 45 miles from this morning´s seismic activity.
