New Scam Hits The Phone Lines

The scam season continues in full swing in the Mother Lode. A Jamestown man reports getting a call from Canada, informing him he´d won 150-thousand dollars. All it would cost him to collect would be 15-hundred dollars, wired to somebody named Sam Torino in Montreal. Another name connected to the scam is Kip Swenson. Happily, the would be victim didn´t fall for it.
