Cranes Arrive At Bay Port

Four huge cargo cranes heading for the Port of Oakland are below the Golden Gate Bridge and are lining up now to creep beneath the Bay Bridge. The cranes will have a tight squeeze under the bridge – less than two feet at low tide, which arrived at about 10 a.m. Traffic was to be halted eastbound and greatly slowed westbound as the cranes are moved under the bridge.
