Suicidal Man Shot By Reno Police

The fourth fatal shooting in a year by a Reno law officer is under investigation after a man who police say was bent on suicide rammed at least two patrol cars and endured two hits by a stun gun before he was shot to death. He brandished a knife and refused orders to drop it before he was shot and killed yesterday on U.S. 395 in Pleasant Valley about 13 miles south of Reno. All five officers involved are on routine paid administrative leave.
