P-T-A Mom Accused Of Stealing Bake Sale Funds

The treasurer of an elementary school´s parent-teacher association in Sacramento has been arrested on suspicion of embezzling nearly $10,000.00 in P-T-A money. The money was raised through bake sales and children´s fund drives. Michelle Knappenberger is accused of writing checks to herself from the P-T-A treasury and forging the association president´s signature.
