Boy Severly Burned After House Destroyed In Firebombing
A 12-year-old boy who was severely burned when his house was firebombed, remains in intensive care at a Davis hospital today. Eyewitnesses told police a car drove up to Ron Tilly´s home late Friday and three young men got out and lobbed molotov cocktails through a window. The house caught fire and was destroyed. Tilly suffered third-degree burns over half of his body. He was airlifted to the UC Davis Medical Center and then transferred to the Shriners Hospital burn unit where he was listed in critical condition late Saturday. Ron´s twin brother, Ray, also received minor burns. He was treated and released. Vallejo police say they have not identified a motive for the firebombing. No suspects are in custody.
