Small Dodge And Pocket Fires Contained Saturday

A vegetation fire of about a quarter of an acre at Dodge Ridge was contained just before 1:00 yesterday. The Dodge fire started about 11:00. Another quarter acre fire located just outside the Emigrant Wilderness at McCormick Pocket near Eagle Peak was contained just after 2:00 yesterday afternoon. That fire started just before noon. Crews will be in the area mopping up throughout the day. Control of both fires is expected by this evening.
