Shipping Companies Delay Providing Proof

Shipping companies who said they would provide proof of a West coast dockworker slowdown have delayed filing documents with government lawyers for up to four days. Proof of a slowdown could bring federal court action against the longshoremen´s union. Union officials say dockworkers are doing their best to handle cargo backed up during a ten-day port shutdown ordered by the shipping companies.
